ServoSoft v2.7 Adds Slider Crank, Thrust Formula
and Couplings |
Press Release
March 15, 2007 |
ServoSoft adds the Slider Crank mechanism, which calculates
the dynamically changing inertia, thrust and gravity
effects for the Crank, Connecting Rod and Load Mass
for any given motion profile. The motion profile can
be specified at the Load (linear), or at the Crank (rotary).
The Slider Crank mechanism is best illustrated in the
Slider Crank
Help page and the Slider Crank
Tutorial.
The new feature allows users to model complex dynamic
loads that can be a function of position, distance,
velocity, acceleration and time. Program any formula
to model any load that can be represented as a formula.
The Thrust Formula feature is best illustrated in the
Thrust Formula
Help page and the Complex Dynamic Loads
Tutorial.
Couplings
are the newest expansion to the ServoSoft database,
along with added support for a centrally
shared network database, allowing all
users within a company to work from the same database
file.
