The
SPS Show, Nov 24-26, in Nuremburg, Germany,
is where we unveiled our new company and
product logos, which we will roll out on
our web site and other materials in the
coming months. See our new SERVOsoft logo
to the right (Fig 1).
Looks great!
SERVOsoft was everywhere
at the SPS Show!
STÖBER (Fig 2),
PILZ and Baumueller (Fig 3)
were demonstrating SERVOsoft with a dedicated
station and hands-on examples with visitors
to their booths. SERVOsoft was also part
of the display on several screens ie. at
the B&R booth. All of these companies
focused on the complete design, and how
SERVOsoft leads to cost effective designs
that precisely meet performance requirements.
One of the biggest themes at the show was
energy efficiency. And of course, this is
where SERVOsoft shines, allowing the user
to study the energy flow throughout the
entire system. And with the recently added
Energy Cost Model, better understand the
energy costs and potential cost savings.
We received a lot of great
feedback and explored countless new features
with many of our existing customers; many
of which will be explored and refined, and
ultimately make it into future SERVOsoft
versions. Further, we developed several
excellent leads and we started, if our history
is any indicator, relationships with more
good customers and future partners. Truly
a successful show!
As I walked around the
show at the end of the first day, surrounded
by so many leading edge motion and related
technologies, I had a revelation... I was
in "Motion Heaven"!
We want to take this opportunity
to thank our customers and partners at the
show. It is our good working relationships
that help bring high quality service and
value to all our customers and the industry
at large.
Finally, a big thank you
to my partner Gerhard Stocker, who did an
exceptional job preparing for the SPS Show,
and who has done and continues to do a brilliant
job developing the market for SERVOsoft.
Many, many thanks!
See you all next year!
Sincerely,
Christian Vardin, P.Eng
