SERVOsoft adds HIWIN Linear Motors, B&R PV, plus several New Features

SERVOsoft adds HIWIN LMF series linear motors. HIWIN is a SERVOsoft power user, having fully embraced SERVOsoft and the value it provides to HIWIN and its customers.

With this release we introduce the Promotion Version (PV) for vendors. The first version is the B&R PV, which is a subset of the SERVOsoft feature set, with a database that allows the selection of B&R and HIWIN products. The B&R PV is currently being used by B&R internally, and will soon be rolled out to all B&R employees and customers globally.

The SERVOsoft database continues to grow with frequent updates, and now contains over 45,000+ products! Click here for a summary of the current products in the database.

The v2.9.178 release adds some great new features including:

	Storing product data in project files. Now when a project is opened and the product data is not in the database, the user is prompted to add the product to the database.
	Ability to enter motor data with the electrical parameters set to zero. This way, users that do not have all the motor's electrical parameters, can at least size the mechanical aspects of the motor.
	Added 'Request Product Data from Vendor' to encourage users to communicate with vendors to request product data to be added to the SERVOsoft database.
