Overview

The Electrical Overview of an entire system is shown, which in this example consists of a single Infeed Module powering a shared bus with 3 Axis Inverters. The Infeed Module shows an IGBT stage, indicating it is a regenerative type.

The Power Flow Table presents the power flow through each component.

Where rated data is available, the Rated, Required and Margin are displayed together.

Power Flow Chart

The Power Flow Chart displays the actual power flow through all components.

But why? ServoSoft not only provides accurate results to complex calculations, it shows you precisely where and why through powerful charts.

All charts allow the user to export the chart data to a file for further anaylsis in a spreadsheet, or any other tool.

Two charts are displayed:
  Bus W: Axis Bus Power
  Inv W: Axis Inverter Power

In this example, there is one Infeed module, so there is only one profile in the Bus Power chart. And since there are 3 drives, there are 3 Inverter Profiles for the X, Y & Z Axes respectively.

Power Flow Help

This diagram is taken directly from the help file.

The top chart is the System Supply Power profile. This is the power drawn by the entire system, whether the system has 1 or 20 axes. The second and third charts show the Bus Power [Bus W] and Inverter Profiles [Inv W].

The diagram clearly illustrates where each profile is taken from in the system.
