Quite often, those that perform
the design do not validate their calculations
against the actual application. This is unfortunate,
as validation is a crucial step in the design
process that allows designers to understand their
assumptions, to verify their calculations, and
to ensure that the system is operating as intended.
We will show you how to use SERVOsoft
to model your entire servo system to an accuracy
of less than 0.5%. Understand how the whole puzzle
fits together in the real world, analyzing your
actual measurements and factoring them into the
SERVOsoft model. We'll show you how to 'close
the design loop', and fully understand how your
system is operating.
Objective:
Learn many of the advanced features in SERVOsoft,
and how they enable intelligent design decisions
from seemingly straight forward single axis designs,
all the way up to several axes. Also learn the
validation process, by integrating actual measurements
into the SERVOsoft design.
