Seminar Program:
Drive Sizing
Practice-Oriented Sizing, Analysis and Optimization of Electrical Servo Drive Systems
Objectives
The seminar teaches you how to select the best possible configuration of servo drive systems using the CAE tool, SERVOsoft®.
You will learn how to calculate several different applications and learn various options for analysis and optimization (selecting and optimizing drives, saving energy, the benefits of different motion profiles). During the seminar, we will also have the opportunity to examine current projects of participants.
In electrical engineering, drive technology is understood to mean the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy using electrical machines. This includes the power supply for the electrical machines as well as how to configure and control them. Usually drives are not standalone, but part of complex automation systems, where
drive technology is an integral and very important component. Servo motors, together with appropriate drives and controllers carry out highly accurate positioning tasks, fast acceleration and shortened cycle times. Using servo drives can increase system productivity and efficiency. Exact configuration of the components of these systems is an important prerequisite. Planning servo drive systems includes all electrical and mechanical components. With optimal configuration, different applications can be achieved more cost-effectively and efficiently.
Who Will Benefit
The seminar is designed for electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, application and sales consultants who work with and want to learn about servo drive configuration.
