Installing XYChartNET
  1. Close all instances of Microsoft Visual Studio.
  2. User must have Administrator privileges to run the install.
  3. Run setup.exe from the application's installation package.
  4. If you have purchased an XYChartNET license, you must first Activate Your License
Enabling XYChartNET component
  1. Open an existing Visual Studio project.
  2. Activate any form "[Design]" window.
  3. Open the Visual Studio Toolbox.
  4. Right-click on the mouse over any item in the Toolbox and select Add Tab.
  5. Enter "ControlEng" as the tab name.
  6. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to XYChartNET's installation folder.
  7. Select XYChartNet.dll and drag the item onto the newly created tab.
  8. XYChartNET component is now available for use.
Uninstalling XYChartNET
  1. If using Windows XP or earlier:
    1. Launch 'Add or Remove Programs' (via Start > Settings > Control Panel).
    2. Select program to remove, 'XY Chart NET'.
    3. Click on Remove.
  2. If using Windows Vista or Windows 7:
    1. Launch 'Programs and Features' (via Start > Control Panel).
    2. Select program to remove, 'XY Chart NET'.
    3. Click on Uninstall.
  3. Open an existing Visual Studio project.
  4. Activate any form "[Design]" window.
  5. Open the Visual Studio Toolbox.
  6. Select "ControlEng" tab, right-click on the mouse and select Delete Tab.
  7. XYChartNET component is uninstalled from system.
